Basically, a Wi-Fi ready device is one like an HDTV screen or player like a Blu Ray player that is able to receive and send Wi-Fi when there is an additional adapter attached to it. That means you’ll need to purchase an adapter that works specifically with this device. Not just any old off the shelf adapter is going to work mind you, you’ll need to get one that is proprietary to the device itself. This can be frustrating because it can cost a good dollar to buy the additional equipment.
