    Customer Rating Dead Already, 2010-12-16
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
I was happy with this TV for the 5 weeks that it worked. It has a nice picture and it was a great size for a bedroom tv. Unfortunately it has already stopped working. It was working fine, turned it off, came back a few hours later and now it has a bright white screen, and no picture. I can still get sound. I contacted Vizio and they confirmed that it does need servicing. Since it is so new, I am just going to return it and not bother with servicing a new TV.

Customer Rating Great Value – Great Design, 2010-11-13
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
I have had this for a few weeks now. This gets used as an additional monitor for my MacBook and for Apple TV (mostly Netflix streaming) as well as Over the Air broadcast television. It performs very well for all of those functions. I have been very pleased with the picture quality. Video and Audio hook ups are adequate and well placed. Remote is EXCELLENT. On screen menus are sensible and easy to navigate. This is a great small screen very well priced. Also, the white gloss casing was a huge plus for me.

I have not had sound issues as mentioned by others.

Customer Rating Beautiful Little TV, 2011-02-16
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
We bought this set for the study/guest room and it is just perfect for there. Love the looks, very sleek and the white is very pretty in this light-colored room. The picture is excellent and we’re happy with the sound. No, it doesn’t have the home theater, surround sound with remote speakers that our big set has, but this is a small room and we don’t want to be blasting our guests out of bed, do we?

The stand is a bit tricky, we broke off one of the two little tabs getting it on. The stand will have to come off when we wall-mount it in a few more days, so that won’t be a problem, but if we ever rearrange things and need to take it down, hmmm, guess we’ll cross that bridge later.

Other than the stand, this is a wonderful small TV, we’ve had it a couple of weeks and are very happy with everything about it.

  • Customer Rating Excellent tv except for the, 2010-12-26
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
Beautiful picture and fit perfectly in the space formerly occupied by the old 19″ analog TV in our RV, we even gained 3″ viewing area in the same framework, but the sound, as mentioned in several other reviews, is terrible. For some reason known only to my wife, she had no problem with the very “tinny” sound from the TV’s speakers, but once I added the Logtech S220 speaker system (Christmas gift) she didn’t want to go back to the TV speakers. Conclusion: Excellent picture quality but terrible sounding speakers!

  • Customer Rating Love this TV, 2011-02-21
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
I bought this new Vizio 22″ to replace an older Vizio 19″. The 22″ take less vertical space than the old model and fits nicely on top of the Comcast HD box and under my kitchen cabinet. The picture is superior with the LED, edge light and 1080 resolution. The speakers leave something to be desired but I think my problem is the quality of the speakers in a room with a tile floor and vaulted ceiling. I have a set of Cambridge SoundWorks computer speakers with a subwoofer plugged into the headphone jack. The small speakers are the same height as the cable box so it is a nice compact package. I am waiting for this model in a 37″ for my den.

Customer Rating Good product, could become better with few improvements, 2011-03-05
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
I got one for my 12 y.o. daughter, especially because it was white and thin (LED). Sound is fair, could be better. No issues with picture quality. Here is how this product could be improved: the stand comes separated, and it was way too hard to attach it to the TV, almost impossible, I’d say. I feared I would end up breaking either one or the other. Reading the instructions, it looks all too simple, but in fact, it is not. Ultimately, I got it right, but that thing won’t come off any time in this life… Secondly, yes, it’s an LED and the screen is thin… but close to the base, the TV has a wider/thicker profile that would make it hard to sit flat on the wall should one decided to hang it there (as most people might want to, with LEDs). No big deal if you’re using the stand, though. Overall, a good product. Not sure I’d buy another one, because of the issue with attaching the stand.

Customer Rating Exceeded My Expectations, 2010-10-30
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
We ordered this same TV for our white kitchen and were so pleased with its design and the quality of the picture and sound that we ordered another one for my wife’s white sewing/laundry room. The design is very sleek and fits under the white cabinets in both rooms. The TV arrived completely wrapped in plastic so that the surface would not be scratched while setting up the unit. For the size of this TV, the picture is excellent and the sound is very good compared to other TVs in its class. The remote stands on end so that it takes up little room on the countertop. It was easy to set up and instructions were simple for the non-tech-savvy.

    Customer Rating Confused, 2011-03-23
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
I received this TV promptly from Amazon. I rated it low because the stand absolutely won’t connect to the tv. I have it propped up on my dresser, just waiting for it to fall. Instructions are straight forward, but stand will not connect.

  • Customer Rating Great combination of features for a kitchen, 2011-03-03
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
Purchased as a gift for a kitchen. The white color, the low profile, the way it stands with the bottom edge right against the counter, really works great for kitchen, and looks classy too. Picture and controls are fine, the sound quality can be improved from out of the box “poor” to “good” by adjusting the several sound related controls.

Customer Rating Great looking TV, fair picture, 2010-10-28
This review is from: VIZIO M220VA-W 22-inch
The VIZIO RAZOR line of HDTVs is a relatively inexpensive and beautiful looking alternative to pricier sets. This being said, I have 2 26″ sets which are spectacular with regard to the actual broadcast picture, perfect right out of the box without having to do any adjustments. The 22″ set, alas, does not follow its larger sibling. I have had only one 22″ set, but its picture for some reason was washed out and in no way close to the razor (forgive the pun) sharpness of the 26″ set. I had tried to manually tweak the settings to no avail. It may have been a defective set, but I have no way of knowing this.
