This is a great system. The built in network connection makes streaming of music and videos very simple. I would definitely buy one of these again. I plan to but the same model only smaller for the bedroom.

Just got our TV last week and love it but I do have a question. Has anyone noticed any blur with fast motion on this TV??? I figured getting the 120hz would resolve this issue but I have noticed a little blur when watching some channels in HD.

Customer Rating the picture quality could be better, 2011-07-02

Love the design, however the picture quality is not perfect. We tried to play with the settings but it did not make it a lot better. Now we’ll be hiring a professional to calibrate it.

  • Customer Rating Wow!, 2011-06-14
This review is from: Samsung UN55D6500 55-Inch
This is really an amazing TV. I’m not a big 3D person, but it’s pretty incredible to watch 3D Blu-ray in your own home. Very vivid colors, crystal clear picture, and I think the sound is great (compared to our old 44″ Magnavox LCD). I can’t believe how thin it is, too! I bought at the right time…..the very next day the price increased by $600. This TV also is one of the top rated on Consumer Reports.

One note about the Skype: you have to buy a Samsung Skype camera, which is around $120-$170. We were disappointed that this wasn’t noted anywhere online, and it took a long and frustrating webchat with Samsung to figure out you can’t just use any webcam. Haven’t been able to try the Skype feature (very excited to)….our camera should be here this week.

Customer Rating Unreliable apps, No Browser, 2D/3D good, 2011-07-15
This review is from: Samsung UN55D6500 55-Inch
I have this tv for 3 weeks now, and I am still having the issues with the apps. Samsung has all the control to its apps, you can install any app you find in their library, but samsung will delete any app without your permission and notification.

No Browser: This model has no browser, its lower and higher model have it.

2D/3D pic : This review earns 3 stars from here, Shows Blueray and cable content nicely.

Overall: in this internet age we are getting more and more form internet, so no one will like to be taken their control by samsung, it is very frustrating. Imagine you are using the apps for few weeks stores your favorites then app get deleted by itself.

WiFi: Internet speed is really good, streams 3D movie well from samsung apps. Netflix and pandora works flawlessly.

Remote: This TV doesn’t come with qwerty remote. Other then this remote is good, it has back lighting you can turn in on and off.

Inputs: It has various input and it allow you to choose the active ones so you don’t have pass through void inputs.

Weight: This can be easily lifted by one person but recommended 2 for safety

One more item, Samsung doesn’t allowed this feedback to be posted on their website. I will delete this line if it get posted there.

Customer Rating Great TV at a great price, 2011-06-01
This review is from: Samsung UN55D6500 55-Inch
Awesome TV! I was a little hesitant to buy it because of the lack of reviews, but really glad I did. This is Samsung’s entry level 3D 2011 model, but the only thing indicating that is the price. I’m not sure if you can get a better deal on a 55″ 3D capable LED TV.

PROS: Looks awesome, 0.5″ bezel makes it look great! WiFi is built-in, so no need to spend another $60 on an adapter.

CONS: There really aren’t any, besides being able to tweak a lot of picture settings which can be a burden for people with OCD 🙂
